Slaydies, get STOKED for a night of films, fun and DANCING!
Doors at 7:30 pm, Films at 8:00 pm, Music at 10 pm.
ISL Engineering and Bettygohard present a night of women’s film & music at the Rossland Eagles!
We are so excited for the film line-up this year, with some very own Rossland Slaydies being featured in / introducing the films. Stephanie Dupont (head Mudbunny) in Part of Me, a film about her battle with chronic illness and her connection with biking. Nexus by Shannon Corsi, one of the most acclaimed women’s film of the year.
We will also be showing Reel Rock 16- Big Things to Come, a film about Alex Johnson’s 10 year journey to climb an iconic line. “Hot Coco” is the newest flick to grace the Slaydies screen on the 19th for all the one plankers out there- get stoked for this one, some gnarly urban riding comin’ atcha.
Following up the films we have Rossland’s very own disco queen Jazzy Jo opening the dance floor for DJ Ginger from Nelson!

DJ Ginger
Ginger is a highly recognized presence in the Kootenayelectronic music scene having rocked stages every year at the
Shambhala Music Festival since 2000.
In her over 25 years as a DJ, Ginger has introduced dance-floors to a diversity of EDM producers before they become
household names and the genre of her sets can only be categorized as her own. She is one of five DJs who comprisethe Meow Mix all-female DJ crew, playing clubs, festivals and
parties throughout Western Canada and the United States.
In 2016, Mary Ann began focusing her talents in theproduction of original music under the name Midori.
