Trail & District Arts Council and Déjà Louve present a Burlesque Workshop with Kage Wolfe on Thursday, November 16 from 7:00-8:30 pm in The Griff at The Bailey Theatre.
Workshop open to those 19+ only.

The Kulture King of Burlesque himself, Kage Wolfe, is bringing to a dynamic opportunity to Trail, created to build upon the harmony of dance and the tease. Sign up for this unique experience designed to teach you some dance moves, while adding elements from the art of burlesque. Dip your toe into the magic!

The workshop is the perfect ice-breaker, refresher, or crossover from other forms of performance arts. Whether you’re a shy newbie, a curious cat, or an experienced entertainer looking to try something new, Kage Wolfe will have various tools available to keep us moving, learning, and teasing.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Kage Wolfe has been teaching dance in Toronto for over 10 years. He has a variety of dance training from various styles of street dance, African dances, and Jazz. He has taught burlesque dance and character workshops throughout Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and B.C. Canada. He is the Kulture King of Toronto Boylesque as well as a touring headliner and feature performer across the country.
Learn the skills then watch the experts, including Kage Wolfe, the following night at A Kootenay Vaudeville Affair. And don’t forget to dress up vaudeville style to win prizes!

This workshop and the Kootenay Vaudeville Affair show are 19+ events that celebrate burlesque culture and body positive self-expression.

The workshop is offered at the affordable price of $20.
