Arts & Culture Festival
Join us on the Museum lawn as we kick off Culture Days with our Arts & Culture Festival, September 23 and 24 from 12 to 4 pm all weekend.
The Festival is an opportunity for our region’s local visual and performing artists to showcase their talents to the public as we celebrate the spectacular culture in our area with musical performances, artist demos, cultural presentations, and more. Wander about the museum property to check out Kootenay artisans and vendors and celebrate the beauty and creativity fostered in this region.
Saturday performances:
– Rossland Glee
– Poppy and the Pea
– Alissa Arnason
Sunday performances:
– Sarah Orton
– Golden City Fiddlers
– Orange Bridge Dance Team
– Tenise Marie
Entry is free, but donations are always appreciated!

WE’RE LOOKING FOR VENDORS:
Are you an artist, artisan, or craftsperson? Do you run a coffee stand or food truck? Are you looking to showcase your art (e.g. visual, musical, or culinary) with other local talent? This Festival is designed for artists to set up as vendors, accompanied by live demonstrations and performances by local artists – and of course, food! We are excited that this year, we have secured funding that allows us to waive all vendor fees. Get in touch with Fiona at admin@rosslandmuseum.ca for details or go to our website to sign up for a booth!
This event is supported in part by the Rossland Council for Arts & Culture, the Nelson & District Credit Union, the Columbia Basin Trust, and the Province of BC.
