The Teachers’ Lounge – Monday Cinema
Trail & District Arts Council presents “The Teachers’ Lounge” at Monday Cinema on March 11 at 4 pm at The Royal Theatre.
Carla Nowak is a dedicated sports and math teacher, who starts her first job at a high school with a sense of idealism. When a series of thefts occur at the school Carla tries to mediate between outraged parents, opinionated colleagues and aggressive students. But as the constraints of the school system make it increasingly difficult for her to do the right thing, the pressure threatens to break the young teacher.
